The former Canada Post hub in downtown Vancouver has been transformed into a tech hub for Amazon. Mark Thompson, partner at MCMP Architects, noted: “This building, which was once all about physical communication, is now about digital communication.” Amazon has leased all 1.13m square feet of office space, with 4,500 employees currently working in the south tower. The revitalisation aims to create a vibrant community and attract further investment; the city faces a decline in office construction.
